I brought that same philosophy into my work as a school counselor, but quickly realized that a heavy focus on data and goals can often overcomplicate the therapeutic process.

I believe one of the most powerful tools we have is simply creating the space for a person to externalize their world in the sand. I built Sandstories because I needed resources that fit my practice, my clients, and my budget. It is designed to ensure practitioners have the inclusive, accessible tools they need to help clients feel seen and heard.”
